Dear World — storytelling in action
EST. 2009 — New Orleans

Stories That
Move People.

Dear World is a storytelling organization built on one belief — if a story has meaning to you, it has meaning to us.

Who We Are

A Marker.
A Camera.
A Movement.

What started after Hurricane Katrina — a man, a marker, a message — became a platform that has captured over one million stories across 100+ countries.

We have been in the room with Boston Marathon survivors, Sandy Hook families, Syrian refugees, and C-suite executives at Google and Salesforce. The methodology is the same. The marker. The question. The story only that person can tell.

Dear World builds cultures of belonging — not through workshops or slide decks, but through the stories your people have been carrying their whole lives.

The People

Our
Storytellers.

They don't deliver keynotes. They create the moment before someone says something they've never said out loud. That's the work.

Our Journey

The Story
Behind the Stories

2005 — The Pivotal Night

The 'Cancer Free' Portrait

One night, a man's wife revealed the words 'Cancer Free' on his bare chest. This moment sparked a new vision: using a marker, a camera, and a meaningful message to create something truly transformational.
